SOON WATER KYSTLAG is a dedicated coastal association committed to preserving and promoting the rich maritime heritage and traditions of the Son/Soon area. We are a non-profit organization driven by volunteers who share a passion for the sea, traditional crafts, and our unique coastal environment. Our mission is to be the central hub for local maritime culture. We work actively to preserve traditional wooden boats, coastal architecture, and knowledge of our seafaring past. Beyond preservation, we organize events, workshops, and community activities that aim to engage all generations in the appreciation and stewardship of our beautiful coast. We strive to ensure that the stories, skills, and values of the Norwegian coastal culture remain a vibrant and essential part of the Soon community's future.
